After studying art and music she followed the course of studies in theatre and cinema and graduated with a thesis on musical theatre direction at the Milan University of Studies. During her studies she started working in the production departments of movie productions and later she worked for some of the major movie companies (Casino Royal, RAI cinema, Lumiere & Co., T.P.I., Panorama, Indiana Production) and at Lombardia Film Commission. Since 2002 she has been assistant director and stage manager in opera productions in prestigious national and international festivals and opera houses (Teatro Pavarotti – Modena; Puccini Festival – Torre del Lago; Opera Giocosa – Savona; ASLICO; Auditorium “Adan Martin” – Tenerife; Teatre Principal – Palma de Mallorca; National Opera Houses of: Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Costarica and Nicaragua; Teatro Jovellanos – Gjion; Teatro Comunale – Bolzano; Teatro Sociale – Trento; Teatro Lirico Sperimentale “A. Belli” – Spoleto; Bronx Opera – New York). She worked for many years with Stefano Monti as an assistant director. Her debut as an opera director was in 2006 at the delle Erbe Theatre in Milan with “Così fan tutte” by W. A. Mozart. In 2009, at the Piccolo Teatro Studio in Milan she directed “Ferrovia Soprelevata” by Dino Buzzati and Luciano Chailly, an Italian experimental musical comedy from the 60s. The following year she works on “Poème électronique” by Edgard Varèse and Le Corbusier, devising her first multimedia event “Music is all around you”. In summer 2013 she became member of Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab in New York City. In December 2013 she is invited at the TPAM Directors Lab in St. Petersburg to direct part of “The Idiot” by F. Dostoevsky. Furthermore she taught, at the Marangoni Institute of Fashion and Design in Milan, culture of cinema and culture of music. In 2016 wrote her first screenplay for a feature, at the moment she is developing this project. In the same year she moved to New York City and became main stage director at Manhattan Opera Studio where she is in charge to direct at the National Opera Center, at the Weill Hall in Carnegie Hall and at the St. Jean Theatre where in summer 2019 she directed a full version of “Die Walküre” by Richard Wagner. In New York she collaborates with different theaters and festivals. In February 2018 she is invited in Beirut becoming one of the founders of the Directors Lab Mediterranean. In summer 2018 she co-directed “Ba-ta-clan” by Jacques Offenbach at the Caio Melisso Theatre for the Opera Festival Teatro Lirico Sperimentale “A.Belli” in Spoleto, for the same organization, during the last two years, she worked as a Director assistant.
